Dark and stormy run

It was dark and rainy and stormy, and I did not mind at all during my 5+ mile run tonight.

I could tell I've been running hard lately, because it was hard to keep a 9:30-9:45 pace. I had to stop at least twice to wait for a traffic light to change, but overall I just kept going. I only had to walk, briefly for about 10-20 steps, once, right around mile 4.5. And I finished in 53:34.

My mile splits (last segment is .41 miles):

  1. 09:44
  2. 10:08 (19:52)
  3. 09:32 (29:24)
  4. 10:23 (39:47)
  5. 10:07 (49:54)
  6. 03:39 (53:34)

I wore shorts, a long-sleeved and a short-sleeved tech shirt, a hat, my Brooks, a reflector belt, and front (white) and back (red) LED lights. It was around 52° F when I left the house.
