Shorter, but faster, long run
My plan for this morning's long run is as follows: a mile or so warmup, then 5 miles of fast-for-me running, then a mile or so of cooldown.
"Fast-for-me" means between a 9:00 and 9:30 pace, also known as my current 5K pace. I think, with the miles I've put in since running the Pints to Pasta a few weeks ago, that I can do this.
We shall see. As soon as I finish this glass of water I'm heading out.
