So close...
I did really good today in calories. I had a modest breakfast (coffee and a small cinnamon roll - not enough protein but OK on calories), a good snack (white cheddar popcorn)... then when co-workers suggested Baja Fresh for lunch, instead of a 1000+ calorie burrito I had two soft tacos and a half-cup each of rice and beans, plus chips.
Dinner was a slice of chicken pizza and a salad. Yum. And that brought me to 2145 calories - about a hundred over what I should be eating if I'm exercising and still want to lose about a pound and a half a week.
Yeah. Doing so good up until about ten minutes ago. When I stopped, impulsively, at the corner market and got two donuts - one kreme filled and one raspberry filled.
Damn. Will try harder tomorrow. At least I walked a lot today.
Oh, and I need more protein in the morning. Trail mix, not donuts.
